Default Shift ****, which weight?

Looking to upgrade from my oem ****. I really like the Spoon ti-**** but it's less than 100gm's, is this too light? I want a smooth and solid feeling shift. Some other ones I'm looking at are 440gm's. So is heavier better? Thanks fellas

If you want smooth/solid shifts, you need a heavier shift ****. I personally looked at the Skunk2 shift ****- 440g, but wasn't enthralled at the idea of frostbite in winter, and burns in the summer. I ended up ordering the Razo RA68- 400g. It's leather wrapped and supposed to be damn comfortable. Arrives on Tuesday, will post impressions.

Maybe I am weird but I would learn how to drive before worrying about such ancillary things as shift **** weight...

$60 here is an open roadcourse lapping day at my local track and a few different entry fees to the drag strip. People need to get their priorities straight.

I'm not as impressed with the extra weight of this shift **** as I thought I'd be. Going back to stock. This Razo **** is only 400g compared to the 440g of the Skunk2, and it feels too heavy. I also thought I'd like the shift **** sitting lower, wrong again. I'm going back to stock. Comes down to personal comfort.

Anywho, my brand new Razo RA68 is for sale. I must admit that it is VERY comfortable, I just don't want the weight.

Its all personal preference. I do prefer a heavier shift ****. Still shopping around for one.

I didn't even realize my shift **** was supposed to have leather on it until i read another thread. I got the car 4months ago, and it's always just been smooth, guess the previous owner took it off for whatever reason.

While the subject is here... what website do you recommend for looking at shift *****? I like some Momo but not the $100 price tag. Btw, I was looking at racinglab.com.

The honda-tech sponsor marketplace almost always has the best prices and service.
