Give the kid a break. The fact the he wants to modify his car and is on HT is good enough. He doesn't know the proper direction yet, but isn't what this forum is for? Aren't the more educated people supposed to help the noobies?!? Or is this a forum about who knows more and those that know very little dare not ask???
My response to you is that you don't need any wires. If you want to invest some money into your new car, start with an intake (SRI = short ram intake, or CAI = Cold Air Intake), and a catback of your choice.
I don't claim to be the Honda god, or SUPER knowledgable, but it really irritates me when someone posts something looking for guidance, and gets flamed!

Waste of time and money in most cases. In an extreme performance application, sure. Or if your car has a lot of miles on it and it's time to think about replacing wires, sure.
Otherwise, just stick with stock. Especially if you just bought a new Civic, just stick with stock.
IMHO.
