F/S '98 Civic Hatchback; 5 speed, DAP, mods
p.s. i copied and pasted the craigslist add so it may seem out of place. shoot me any offers at all, super low-balling will be ignored though :thumbsup:
p.p.s don't mind the dirt on the fender, i park in a dirt lot daily, even after i wash it the car is dirty again in an hour.

For sale is my 1998 Honda Civic Hatchback. The car is Dark Amathyst Pearl w/ charcoal interior. It is a 5-speed manual with currently 106K miles on the odometer. The car has been lightly modified by myself using only quality components. Within the last 2 months the following have been done;
-D16Y8 head swap (mini-me) with OEM Honda headgasket and ARP head studs. performed using a civic EX wiring harness, which means no hacked up original harness for vtec activation. this harness also allows easier installation of a b-series motor of the same obd type if the purchaser wanted.
-Y8 Intake and exhaust manifolds
-AEM short ram intake
-OEM Honda timing belt, t-belt tensioner, water pump, and accesory belts.
-Civic EX transmission (shorter gears)
In addition to the above, the following have been installed within the last year i have owned the car;
-Apexi World Sport 2 exhaust
-Koni Yellow adjustable shocks
-RS-R race springs
-Omni Power rear lower control arms
-Omni Power rear camber shim kit
-15x7 Kosei K1 racing wheels in silver w/ Avon M500 195/55/15 tires
-Honda Del Sol front seats (charcoal w/ gray stripe)
-OEM replica JDM yellow fog lights
-Civic EX guage cluster (w/ tachometer, correct mileage)
-Sony head unit w/ am/fm and cd/mp3 functions
A few notes for potential buyers to consider;
-the exhaust has a rattle between 2500 and 3000 rpms, i havn't figured out if it is just due to lack of a cat, or if it is possibly something else. even with the rattle, the exhaust is still much quieter than most aftermarket Honda exhausts.
-the rear quarter panel area around the wheel wells is starting to show the usual Honda rust on the passenger side. I'm not a body man but it seems it should be fixable with a little work. other than that, the car has an average amount of dents and scratches for a 8 year old car.
-There is a suspension squeak somewhere in the rear of the car that i suspect is trailing arm bushings. they appear ok and are not torn, and the squeak is barely even noticble with the radio off, so i had never bothered to investigate it further.
Asking price is $5200/obo with the wheels.
If you would like i can replace the Kosei wheels and tires with the OEM steel wheels with generic tires and work out a lower price with you. My local bank currently owns the title, it would take a few days after payment to recieve it from them and sign it over to the purchaser, please keep this in mind. Please e-mail with any questions or to get my contact info. Thank you for looking.
