No, this is just a slow moving forum and you're impatient.

You shouldn't be cutting anything to begin with. Get the appropriate speaker harnesses, plug them in and you're done. No soldering involved.

And as previously stated, it's not necessary to bump 3 times in an hour on this forum.

Yes please stop being a cheap bastid (J/K) and buy the plugs-they are only 5-8 bucks and make your life so much easier-ie no screwups.

go play nice

Did you really have to ask? There are 2 wires of each color at the plug, meaning that the same color wires are connected together. So cut off the plug, solder the same colored wires together, and then solder them onto the speaker terminals. Use the installdr website to figure out which color is positive. Then, connect that to the wider tab on the speaker. And it should be obvious already, connect the negative wire to the smaller tab.

See its just that 'obviuos logic' that proves that not everyone should install their own gear (trust me... I made more in service diagonstics and repair charges today then I have in my whole career ) Some people should just put the tools down and just walk away and seek professional help.

All I was asking was which color was positive basically and by logic I found that the larger tab on the new speakers are the + terminals

Ohhh... Because the + and - stamped into the white part of the terminal plate didn't clue you in? And you could have opened the manual and seen that too...
