well my car has been leaving a small puddle everynight. jacked it up today to discover fluid is leaking out of where the shift linkage connects. plus when i take off in first the car is making a weird screeching type sound. its not clutch chatter, im running an act 6 puck and flywheel. could it be the throw bearing making the noise? the car only has 23k on it. any info would be great. the car runs fine while driving around. im goin to take some pics and will post them up tommorrow cause im at work today.

seems more like an axle issue. you should also double check where the leak is from i've never heard of a leak near the shift linkage. its probable the fluid is leaking from somewhere else perhaps where the axle goes into the tranny and collecting at the bottom of the tranny near ur shift linkage.
