Default Expo 6 Long haulers thank you thread!

Well I have been very busy since I got home with work, kids, job and the side business I run out of my shop behind my house so I apologize for being the last one to make a thread on probly one of the best events Ive ever been to.

I would like to thank everyone that made this Expo 6 possible, I met many of you the 2 days we were there and I am very proud to be a ITR owner and member of such a elite group of people.

I have to give a shout out to a few key people that were responsible/concerned for us making it to the event and being able to participate.

Stealthycivicsi-Dan, thanks buddy for making the thread that got the help we need while on the road with no internet access.

Kicker773-Paul, thank you for making calls to secure us a throw out bearing/tools to fix our car and reassuring us if we made it to you we were in good hands

The Cone-Andrew/Nemesis0104-Tony, You guys were great. They drove back to Chicago to pick me up a complete Excedy clutch kit and flywheel after it was found that they were bad. They got back at 3am when we all had to be at the track at 7am

It was also great to put more faces with screen names this year. I met so many it would be hard to remember them all and list them so to everyone that we met thanks for all the support and hopefully we will see you all next year.

Here are some of the pics we took on our little 4000 mile road trip to and from Expo 6.

Just in case some of you didnt know which I am sure is very possible, my wife and I had clutch failure going thru Montana and the first pic is what I did to rig the throw out bearing to make it to the Expo and we were the ones doing the clutch install Sun night/Mon morning.

The first 2 pics explain it all.

Finally home, those are our twin 4yr old boys playin with some gifts we picked up!

Chris, it was great to see that you were able to make it out on the track!

And yeah, Cone is the man, for once.

Chris, is was great meeting you and your wife. I'm glad you two finally made it home safe. I was so sad to hear about your clutch problems, then once we got to the hotel it seemed like there was no relief when your pressure plate was what turned out to be the malfunction. You're one of the most hardcore and dedicated track-goers I know. Standing there in the cold with your entire transmission out waiting on the Cone (mad props for helping this guy out bigtime ) to bring you a new clutch. Thats passion right there. That last session we ran together was awesome and you were fast out there! It amazes me when I see guys like you out there facing big problems but I'm glad you were able to overcome them and have a great time. I look forward to Expo 7 and hope you can make it out, this time with no problems!

Cheers to the first ITR I saw heading to the Expo and the last member to make it home and farthest member to make the journey!

Why you gotta be hatin' ?

Anyway, Chris, once again I was only glad I could help out. It would be a shame for you to drive so far and not be able to do the event. It was good to meet you and make new friends.

It was glad to be of service and maybe next year at EXPO 7 we can actually sit down and have the damn infamous beer...hehe...I hope the rest of the track events go without a hitch... and maybe I can get all my sessions in next year too..
