I've bought the smoke paint from my local hobby shop, so does any one know how to properly smoke out tail lights?

use black candy from house of color, your will need to use it from a srpay gun.

 

the last couple times ive had a problem with the spray window tint stuff fisheyeing, so be shure to clean it realy good(you might also spray a base coat of clear so the tint will stick good) then give it a few nice thin even coats of the paint, till you get the darkness you want, then give it a couple mins to dry and give it a couple nice coats of clear, then pollish it out with some rubbing compound and wax it, should look fine

 

go to the gas station, by some iso heat, clean with terry cloth, sray light and even, 2-5 times depending on how dark you want it. clear coat them, then install back on your car
