Default Semi-built B16...problems oh lord.

I recently (today) put together a B16 w/ the following:

RM valvetrain
Crower 402 cams
aebs IM
custom filter
Stock B16 block w/ >70,000 miles
new Water pump
new seals
new gaskets
ETC.

My problems are the following:

Idle sucks complete A$$....rough as Sh*T
Through the breather port (on valvecover) white smoke pours out when revved

cyl. 3 has some rich fuel issues.....

I am at a loss......I've spent HOURS trying to figure this out till my hands have bled (literally)

Biggest problem...The smoke from ther valve cover....Oil pressure is good, temp is good, valve adj. was cool, timing=dead on.

Please help, I've spent lotsof money, and feel like it was a waste

TIA

Forgot to mention......93 cx obd1 motor blah blah blah

I am currently drinking my sorrows away i apologizze

ALso, I had an epiphany,

the idle prob. could be caused by mixed up plugs..Ie evap. purge/iac/breather/ etc.
~if someone has the wire colors/etc, let me know.....i am depressed

need reasons why white steam/smoke is coming from VC

Man that white smoke pouring out the valvecover sounds like bad rings...

Try this...with the car idling, pull off one plug wire at a time and see what cylinder doesnt make a difference...Then you might want to run a compression and leakdown test...

Check these first before gong farther.

I have already done the wire trick: no cylinder was bad.

I have had bad rings before ( diff. motor) and never had white smoke out of the valvecover.

I fixed the idle prob. today, but I am having a difficult time understanding the white smoke issue.

BOTTM LINE......What is (are) the cause(s) of white smoke (smells like gas a bit) coming from the VC breather tube? I will be getting another ecu soon: I am currently using an LS in safe-mode, and hope this will ease the rough idle more.

TIA

EDIT:::::: Exhaust is clean....NO smoke whatsoever::::::

The bottom end was re-built one year previous by a friend....ran fine.

He gave it to me 3 months ago, assuming it was fine, I put my brand new head on it.

The idle prob. was a vaccuum issue/pcv/iacv screw up on my part. It has been dealt with.

NOW, today, I removed the dipstick and white smoke was coming out of there as well. Is this a sign that the pistons need to be checked and new rings put on? Or is there some other reason this is happening?

cool....now assuming this is the only problem, do I just need to replace the rings? Or, should I be concerned about the block?

I am new to bottom end whoas.....
