today got in my car headed to the wallets worst nightmare (gas station). pull up and go to get out of my car and damnit car door wont open, so i roll down window and pull outside handle no luck. question is...is there any possibility that its not my latch cuz no junk yards or dealerships are open on sundays, well in my area at least, or is there a possibilty there is just a connection bad in the door somewhere. my friend told if it is latch and he does get door open it wont close till i get new latch. im tired of havin to dukes of hazard style get in and out of my car any help appreciated

 

take it apart and look. anything is possible. mine did it too, some how it just fell apart, dont know how cuz i had a hell of a time gettin it back together, check the rod that goes from the handle to the actual latchy greasy thing in the jamb. good luck

 

yeah im doin that tuesday gonna be a bitch seein as i cant open the door just was kinda looking for some hope i wouldnt have to go to the junk yard


next question is it possible to remove the door panel with out break stuff if the door is stuck closed

ps dukes of hazard entrance is gettin old real fast

 

had opposite problem my door would stay latched closed
