i didn't put a resistor box when i put a 95 gsr motor in my 94 dx hatch. don't think you have too unless you start doing major modification that need higher cc injectors and also depending on the injectors or put a h22 in.

no you dont need to put a resistor box in unless the injectors are P&H. the stock injectors are saturated though and dont require a resistor box. so your answer is no, no resistor box is needed.
