o2 sensor question
I'm getting cel 63 on my 01' gsr, which is the secondary o2 sensor circuit. My question is, what could be the cause for this? Is it a problem with the o2 sensor wires or the actual o2 sensor itself.
Also, where does the secondary o2 sensor unclip? The primary one unclips a couple inches above the primary o2 sensor, but the secondary's wires go up into the car, and I can't really follow the wires.
Thanks

The secondary has a rubber grommet in the floorpan. The wires go up into the grommet. It is highly unlikely that your wiring is bad (that's why they put the rubber piece in there) Replace the 02 sensor.

Right, but to replace it, do you have to cut the wires and solder the new ones togeather? I was hoping it would just unclip like the primary one does.

Take the rubber grommit out... the connector will be in there. It unclips like the primary.</TD></TR></TABLE>
No I wasn't trying to be a smartass, just letting you know that I understand it goes through the floorpan. I didn't know the connector would be right there. Didn't mean for it to come across like that.
Thanks
