leaking main relay
Car won't start so the first thing I checked is the main relay. After remving the cover and looking, all the joints look fine but it looks like there is something leaking out of some of them. Similar to the way puss comes out of the top of an insect bite or pimple. The color of it is sort of like blood. I tried to take a picture but macro mode can't focus enough to be able to see it. What is this stuff? It smells almost like a resin but isn't sticky and doesn't even feel wet. Could this be why the car won't start? It's definatly not getting any fuel.
it's probably flux and that's normal. you should be looking for dry joints. Those are little cracks in the solder around the joints. They look like rings and are hard to spot.

Main relay's arent that expensive man , just pick one up and replace that one.
That way you know for sure it good. If your not getting fuel chances are it bad.

Half my tools are at my dads house which is about 30 minutes away, working with basically hand tools and few specialty tools (actually, only two: brass mallot, compression gauge.) Otherwise I would do this.
