what is a d15y and would it make a diff in my ed6 and how much is one with a tranny worth?

 

D15Y? Do you have a picture of the block stamping with that as the only Y's I know of are the D16Y5, D16Y7, and D16Y8.

 

i dont this guy is selling it to me.....he said it came out of his rex but like it doesnt look like nething i have seen b4...and it only has 80,000 miles on it....

like he said, if its a "Y" then is either one of these engines

 

and also. depends where u go and what type of tranny u get it with. i got my y8 with an 91 si tranny. i bought them seperatly from a junkyard and it cost me 600$ (from the same place). the motor had 49k miles on it.hope this helps

 

well this guy is giving it to me for 150 with a MT tranny and it has 80k miles.......is it good?

 

dood hell ya. but again it also depends if the motor has been treated right. u want 80k miles not 80k dragmiles u know.lol. either way is not a bad deal at all man. goodluck
