Does anyone know where I can get the Honda maintenance schedule for my lude?

 

Oil change every 3,000 miles

Rotate tires if u want ~12,000-15,000 to stretch out life


Maintenance every 30,000 miles on the mark (30k, 60k, 90k, 120k so forth).

What do u need to know???

 

Your owner's manual should have your maintenence schedules in it.

That's way too frequent. The owner's manual calls for 7500 miles. I run Mobil 1 10w30 for 10,000 miles (and it could go longer, too).

no its not! i work for a dealership and when they do the oil change, they put a reminder sticker says the next oil change in 6000kms, so why would they go off from the owners manual?

 

Yeah I agree with Andy. I run Mobil 1. I just need to know when I need timing belt, valve adjustment, AC recharge all that good stuff!

Because they want you to come in sooner so they can charge you for oil changes you don't need. They are in business to make money. It's 7500 miles on the damned maintenance schedule in the 5th gen owners manual. I should know, I have one.

 

A to be done every 7500 miles

Replace engine oil (use Honda 5W-30 Motor Oil). Drain oil,
replace drain bolt washer, and torque bolt to 33 lb-ft.
Capacity without filter: 4.8 qt, with filter: 5.1 qt.

Rotate tires: criss-cross for non-directional tires/wheels;
front-to-rear for directional. Torque wheel nuts to 80 lb-ft.
Check tire inflation with a gauge (see driver’s doorjamb
label), and visually check for wear, cuts, bulges, nails, etc.

B to be done every 15000 miles

Replace engine oil filter. Torque the new filter to 16 lb-ft.

Inspect front and rear brakes.
• Check pads and discs for wear (measure thickness with
the calipers installed), and visually inspect the pads and
discs for cracks, grooves, etc.
- Front pad thickness: Std 10.5–11.2 mm, Limit 1.6 mm.
- Front disc thickness: Std 22.9– 23.1 mm, Limit 21.0 mm.
- Rear pad thickness: Std 8.3–9.0 mm, Limit 1.6 mm.
- Rear disc thickness: Std 8.9–9.1 mm, Limit 8.0 mm.
• Visually check calipers for leaks.
• Visually check wheel cylinders for leaks.

Check parking brake adjustment. Should be fully applied
within 6 to 10 clicks.

Visually inspect tie-rod ends, steering gearbox, and rack
boots for impact damage and cracked or torn rubber boots.
• Turn the steering wheel back and forth to check steering
linkage for looseness.
• Visually check fluid lines for damage and leaks.

Visually inspect suspension components for damage.
Visually check ball joint boots for deterioration and damage.

Visually inspect driveshaft boots for cracks, and check
boot bands for tightness.

Visually inspect brake hoses and lines (including ABS).
Visually check the master cylinder, proportioning control
valve, and ABS modulator for damage and leakage.

Visually check all fluid levels, condition of fluids
(discoloration, contamination), and visually check for leaks.
If needed, add trans fluid (A/T: use Honda ATF-Z1,
M/T: use Honda MTF), coolant (use Honda All Season
Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2), brake fluid (use Honda DOT 3
Brake Fluid), P/S fluid (use Honda Power Steering Fluid),
and windshield washer fluid.

Visually inspect cooling system hoses and connections for
damage, leaks, and deterioration.

#Visually inspect exhaust system (catalytic converter heat
shield, exhaust pipe, and muffler) for damage, leaks.

#Visually inspect fuel lines and connections for looseness,
cracks, deterioration, and leaks.

C to be done every 30000 miles

Replace air cleaner element.

Inspect and adjust drive belts. Look for cracks and
damage, then check belt defection by pushing on it (about
22 lb) midway between the pulleys. Alternator belt:
9.5–12.5 mm; P/S pump belt: 13.5–16.5 mm;
A/C compressor belt: 9.5–12.5 mm.

Replace dust and pollen filter.

NOTE: Except for the 105,000 mile interval, check/adjust
valves only if noisy.

105,000 mi/7 yr
Replace the timing belt and balancer belt. Inspect the
water pump.

Check idle speed.

Replace spark plugs.

Check valve clearance when the engine is cold.

120,000 mi/6 yr
Replace manual transmission fluid. Use Honda MTF.
120,000 mi/6 yr

Replace automatic transmission fluid. Use Honda
ATF-Z1.

Replace ATTS fluid. Use Honda ATF-Z1.
