Dinky Mod question on under drive crank pully?
Last years tune up on the belts, seals, waterpumps, and ect.... I decided to play around with the OEM pullys to see what it could do for the cars performance. It would probally work better if i knew someone in austin that could dyno and engine manage my cpu but i don't.
well i have a few idea's latly.
I have been feeling like pulling the underdrive crank pully off, and set it back up to the standard OEM or maybe a slightly under drive pully to keep it somewhat stock. The Under drive crank pullly feels like its way to under drive for a stock Power LS to me... Especially with the 11lb flywheel thats been attatched to the trany. The low end torque feels missing...
My other idea is that the flywheel is to light and has stolen that certain low end torque.
Any thoughts on what i should do to balance the problem.

i do not beleave it is gaining much or losing the HP at all. The problem is i feel i have under drive the torque at the low end. I i am spousing that if i change the crank back to either, OEM or Slightly under drive it may change up the low end torque at GO. I love the way it gets up an go at mid power, but i may be wrong. I just figured maybe someone else had a crack at upgrading the pullys and flywheel....
maybe i should just check another area on HT.com boards for other vehicals...
