pherable and kenji ECUS
My first post
Anyone using pherable or kenji on their jdm IT-R? Besides the fact on their site, I'd like to know other peoples feedback. I would like to know the VTEC engagement and rev limit. Thanks in advace.

Maybe he's busy with business or you are just impatient
Does he have a phone number?
Either one should work, but I chose phearable because I think he uses his own basemaps. You'd have to contact him to find out for sure. If you are going to tune your car then it doesn't matter

Email Kenji, he doesn't answer PMs right away. I have a Kenji ECU with 5500 x-over and 9000 limiter. I have no complaints and got the ECU within two days. Great guy and the ECU works a lot better than my previous one. Better gas mileage
Thanks in advance that all posted their comments

So it seems like kenji is getting all the credit.
Vtec at 5500? Do you think 4700 engagement is okay just like the mugen ecu?
I already have a reinforced valve train.

there was a big *** thread on this. phearable vs kenji
they are both good but only way to have your car running right is to have your car tuned after
those chips are just there as a basemap so you can go get your car tuned

The ONLY way to know the ideal crossover is to get it t00ned. At which point it doesn't matter if you go with Kenji or Phearable because you will be replacing the base map they provide you. And DO NOT use any Mugen programs for engine management. They are horrible for your stock motor.
There is a HUGE thread on this in the archives.

Sorry but my motor is not stock. I do have a Toda valve train with PCT pistons and Mugen 2layer gasket...etc My problem is choosing an ecu and I would like to know peoples opinion on kenji and phearable ecus on their ITR. I thought that the Mugen ecu would be good also just my $0.02

Either way, m00gen is poop. Don't use it. You're best bet is to get your car tuned, especially with what you have. I would find the cheapest set-up you can find. Or find a tuner and see what he recommends for you. Who is tuning your car? You've spent enough on your car, you might want to invest in a good tune to keep that motor safe
