wheel bearing replacement
Go up to the FAQ sticky at the top. Go to the thread that has the downloadable Helms manuals. Download the manual. It has good pictures and even gives you a listing of the tools needed.
Im about the biggest DIY guy i know. BUT, i'd suggest just taking your knuckles off and taking them and the bearing to a machine shop. The place near me charges $20 a side. For $20 and 10 minutes, i had my hub done. You can do it with a slide hammer yourself, but its just not worth the time.
Since then, i've bought my own press. Also indespensible to have for bushings. It took me all of 5 minutes each LCA to press the new bushings in today. Now taking the old 16 year old bushings out, thats another story. Took me about an hour each LCA
