Default Help, starting problems.

Hey all, I have some problems with my crx. Before it broke down on me on the highway, my car slowed down even at full throttle, then it shut off. After a few minutes, i started the car and it sounded like something was flapping. Then when i reved it and it only reved up to 5k rpm, it wouldnt go anyhigher. After that i started driving it, just nearly going 20-25 mph then the car just completly shut, it sounded like something snapped, but cant figure out what it was. Now the car wont even turn over, all i hear is a click and also the Service Engine light comes on if i try to turn it.
Anyone know what it could be???
Thanks

Gosh that sounds like the timing belt , or maybe even the rotor.

Check the distributor rotor, check timing, check fuel, check spark, check compression and report back.
