92 civic si power window help!

92 civic si power window help!
I got a 92 si with power windows and I was taking off the door pannel and a metal magnetic coil spring thing fell off along with a small metal hook....any ideas on what this was for would help alot

if its grey and round it goes in the regulator. you will have to remove the reg. and get some channel locks or vice grips and squeeze it back in. these fall out alot.
