anyone know if the 92' si came with power windows? i had one and it had manual windows and im about to get another and they all have manual windows too. Only si's ive seen have power windows are like 94 and up... someone help please?

I had a 92 and 95 4-dr ex sedans and they had all power everything, but my 92 si hb only had power moonroof the windows were arm-power. I think that the 92-95 2-4dr's came with power windows in the LX, EX and SI models.

no 92-95 civic hb si came with power window or power lock.

Only the 92-95 civic coupe ex and the 4 door model had those features.

PWR LKS/WNDS were probably an option on the Si's and it wasn't common, not a standard item. Most don't have it unless it was added, like i did.

alright cool cuz ive found 1 '95 si with power windows and ive been looking at every one i can find. its just cause people kept telling me " oh all si models even yours should come with power windows." and i went on a madman search and i went on wikipedia and looked up my gen. si and it told me that all 92 si's did not have the PW feature. thanks guys

Are you sure it came factory with power window/lock.

It possible that they can put the ex coupe doors and there or just switch the part over.

yea well im not sure exactly. im looking to buy another '92-'95 si so i just want to make sure. looking for a new project and i dont want something that has shitty wiring or anything. car doesnt have power locks just power windows.

Why don't you ask the owner of the car to see if he got the power windows/locks from an EX coupe civic, and also ask the owner if he installed it. To tell you the truth if the door panels looks oem and so are the switchs and the tweeters, I'm pretty sure the wiring harness came from an OEM Ex coupe door. I wish I had power windows/locks in my 93 SI. I think the only options that the SI's had were the rear speakers (correct me if I'm wrong).

power windows and power locks were never on option from the factory for 92-95 hatches.

rear speakers were an option on all hatches.
Mostly the SIs ended up with them due to the price and people wanting something cheap with the CX.

another note: 92 did not have a 2-door with power windows, the EX was introduced in 93. (I always forget that)

that answers another question too cuz my old eg didnt have rear speakers and i was like wtf? im glad people are telling me all this too its nice to learn seeing as i was four in '92
