First of all, I want to thank everyone for their concern and sympathy. This really feels like a big R family. I'm a lil calm now...so here's the whol story:

Well...last few days has been horrible for me...first I broke up with my gf Fri night and read ended someone Sat. night as I was driving back to L.A. The guy was driving a 1941 classic show car with a break light that lights up just like a regular "Parking" light. Anywayz...the damage was small...just front bumper damanged so no bid deal. Thought that was it...then on Tuesday, my rear left rim was spray painted red by some ******* in my work place. Still depressed the whole breakup, accident and ****...not this...man...you guys wont believe how i was feeling...

well, its not over yet...late tuesday night, I went to my ex's place to pickup some stuff...i knew i won't stayed long, so i kinda illegal parked just right outside her apartment in IV. For those of you that live in SB, i parked my car at the handicap space between camino del sur and abrego. 15 mins later, i heard someone tempting my alarm...at frist i thought it was the tow truck..so I ran down, and didn't see nothing. Luck my car again and went back up for another 15 mins. This time, I didn't hear any alarm...but I did heard a car sounded like my car taking off fast...I had a bad feeling, so ran straight down...and "****"...its GONE!!!

Called the police, first make sure that it wasn't towed or anything...then filed a stolen report right away. No disrespect or anything...but THEY SUCK. Took them 30 hours to get to me and write out the report. When everything's done, it's already 5am...the car was stolen app. 4am. At that moment, i knew they wont' find that bastard. **** he has all the time he needs to drive it back to his garage and start taking things apart. Sucks man...cops are useless...instead of go look for it right away...they had to follow their procedures...~sigh~...the operator at 911 even told me that my case is not an emergency...can you believe that?

Well...this is the whole story...painful huh...~sigh~..well, at least my gf came back to me. That's the only thing to cheer me up now. Now all I can do is wait and prepare to see my R left necked on some empty parking lot.

Be careful guys....I might still go down to the 28th's meet...~sigh~...with a total different feeling.

Sorry just trying to lighten the mood a little. Just remember its just a car... Sure its a great car, but there are other things that are more important. Good to know you werent jacked in the process...

NOTE TO ITR OWNERS: When (not if) your car gets stolen, tell them that you think you might have left your high powered rifle in hatch that you in there from going to the gun range the night before. This will make them look for the car. Then when they find your car, say "Oh, nevermind, I just remembered I had put the gun back in the safe already."

So you're saying the first time your alarm went off, your car was unlocked? **** right there I would have
a) moved the car
b) left and came back another day
c) hide in the bushes with a base ball bat and wait for thouse ******* to come back

First: I completely agree, it's just a car....BUT
Second: What do you replace it with? If you're like me, you want another R, so I guess you have to buy it used..but I don't like doing that.
Buy an S2: a lot more $$$ than an R, M3 would rock, but even more money.
Subbieee: I am a Honda fan, I'll pass.

I know, I have to change with the times, and wake up to the fact that I can't have my R back. But this is why it's more than just a car to me, I don't really want any other car. If it gets stolen, I think I'll buy an NSX with my Honda Discount!

and to think it only takes 30 seconds to unlock ur teg.. (the AAA guy does it even faster.) if i had a R i'd never leave it alone unless i knew it was securely locked.. but u know what, carjackers will have already tagged ur car waiting for you to leave it vulnerable.. if they really want ur car.. they'll take it.. (do u ever wonder if they go shopping in forums.. everyone has pictures posted on their webpage advertising the car/mods.. scary thought huh..) it could be worse.. they could have just held u at gunpoint/beat u up to give up the R.. don't worry what comes around goes around.. bad things happen to bad people..

 

Selling #9 for a T5R or enough dough to drop a 302 in B0XY is looking better and better

Cops suck period when it comes down to your car being stolen. Can't blame them but that's how it goes. What we need is a tracking system (via satellite) otherwise there's no way anybody can find the car even if they tried. It can be anywhere and in any garage. Sorry about your lost buddy.
