Hondata and PLX
I have read that with Hondata it is best to have a wideband also for tuning. So the whole need for the wideband is just knowing your AF ratio. Will i benefit anymore having a top of the line wideband with many features such as the PLX R-500 or basicly the whole need for a wideband is just to know your AF ratio for tuning and all the features that are included on the R-500 are on the Hondata S300 and more ?
If you already have hondata you can datalog your a/f with Hondata.
I would go with the M300. The r500 has a lot of nice options... but all of these options are available with hondata.
To hook it up, simply run the PLX white wire to D14 on your wireharness (obd1) and then go into hondata and configure it for the PLX wideband. If the wideband is reading diff values than it is on hondata, simply adjust the gain. You can read about this on http://www.plxdevices.com

Ok so pretty much all i want is something that will read the AF ratios and hookup to Hondata because Hondata comes with all the features of any wideband plus more ?
Also the hondata s300 says it comes with Lambda tracing (with a wideband o2 sensor) ? If it comes with a wideband why are ppl upgrading

it doesnt come with a wideband, it just has the ability to have one configured into the program for map tracing.
all you need is the M300, anything beyond that would be a waste of money. But the plx was a little expensive for me just to be able to see a/f's at all time. Thats why i went with zeitronix.
either way, both of them are nice and will get the job done.
