i recently bought a new Bosch Universal o2 sensor for my car which is a 96 accord with a 93 jdm h22a motoor in it. im having problems trying to figure out which wire is which on the universal o2 sensor it has 2 white wires and one grey one n a black one... i am running a 96 honda accord engine wiring harness with a jdm p13 ECU HELP! P.S its the primary o2 sensor

 

read the instructions that comes with it, it tells u what each wire does.

 

you should've bought some O2 sensors from http://www.sparkplugs.com they're OE spec and cheaper

 

the instructions dont help. The OEM harness will have 4 wires 2 w/ the same color, so wire those to the whites, and I just guessed on the last 2. Its a 50/50 shot then. If the car runs good on the first fire up you got it. If not swap those last 2 wires and you should be in business.

 

so like sense the Bosch o2 sensor has 2 white wires and i think my OE harness has some colorful wires but i think there are 2 wires are the same but im not sure...n e ways those 2 wires i can just hook stright up or is there a certin wire i have to hook it up to for example....the left white wire has to go on the right side of the OE harness black wire and the right white wire from the Bosch has to go on the left side to the OE harness black wire....i was trying to reach the wiring diagram and the instructions that came with the o2 sensor but it doesnt seem to help.each wire has a certin place to go but i just dont know which one is which... as of now i no my OE wiring hardness has like green, red and some other colors... but i'll try ur way first n see were that goes if it doesnt work i'll prolly go to sparkplugs.com and buy the OE one

 

yeah there were 2 wires the same color on the OE harness.

 

n on the Bosch o2 sensor i can just randomly hook up those to wires from the Bosch to the OE harness or do i have to swap those around to

 

i think the 2 same colored wires are grounds. 1 is for input and believe the other is cause its a heated o2 sensor IIRC
