pardon the noob question, but what exactly does an after marked fuel rail do?i searched here and i come up with for sale stuff and modifications.

It looks pretty, and that about sums it up. Unless you have an unbelievable amount of power, you'll be ok on the stock rail; all motor cars need not apply. But by that point you will have spent enough money that a $100 fuel rail is a drop in the bucket.
