how to safely get my car up on all fours???
I would like to do my tranny and diff(when it is due again), but mainly the tranny. I know I have to have it raised and flat so I fill it up properly, but how are you guys safely jacking up your cars on all 4? Do you use jack stands or the car ramps? Or something I haven't thought of? Obviously I would rather do it the safest way possible and do not care about spending money to accomplish this. Just let me know.
I am a little worried about the jack stands as I would think there is a possibilty of the car slipping off when you got to the second side and starting jacking it up...?
Also how hard is it to change out clutch fluid? I have an AP1 service manual, but own an AP2. Will this still be accurate?
Last question would be: What fluids do you guys recommend for an AP2 with 33, 000mi I drive hard half of the time if this makes a difference.
Thanks Again

Jack it up from the front lift point, middle of subframe. Put 2 jack stands under the reinforced lift points just behind the front wheels, under each side marker. Jack up the rear end from the diff, then put 2 more jack stands either under the rear subframe, or under the last 2 reinforced lift points just ahead of the rear wheels.
i usually invite pat robertson over for dinner, then after i drive over him and he just leg presses the s, since its light enough he can be there for a soild hour

yea do the front then rear.
After its on all four, just give the car a small push.. make sure every thing is sturdy
dont try to push the car off, just give it a couple small tap/pushes
Just to ensure that the car is sturdy
Do you mean the clutch (hydraulic) line?
Bleed it like you do brakes
There is a slave cylinder on the tranny with a bleeder screw
You will need some one in the car to pump the clutch pedal
while some one opens/closes the bleeder screw
But do you really need to flush your clutch line?
i dont think you need to. just make sure its toped off
and that there isnt any air in the system (by bleeding)

if you dont care about spending money go to some shop and ask them how much to borrow their lift and someone to stay after to keep the place open.

It doesn't hurt. And especially after any track events. I put Motul RBF600 in mine when I flushed the brake system.

most shop will not allow you to pass the work area without violated some sort of insurance/store policy.
