Default 99 SI - Idles where it wants and Stalls?

I have been having a problem with my 1999 SI since I bought it, It idles weird, not a surge but more of a low idle. Sometimes when I come to a light and put in it nuetral it will stall. Then this is the wierd thing, when I restart it, for a second it acts like its cold, like it idles @ 2k for maybe 2-3 seconds, then gets to idle normal.

Anyone have any idead about this? The only CEL I ever got since I owned the car was a p0172 & p0170 (Bank 1 Sensor 1) (Fuel Trim Malfunction). Dont know if these have anything to so w/ my problem but I reset the ecu after that and its never come back since.

Mods are:

CROWER 401'S
AEM V2
CAT BACK EXHAUST
BLOX IM
FPR/GAUGE
AEM PULLEYS

Thanks in Adv

try raising the idle, the theres a little screw on top of the throttle body it may have a rubber cap or some gray waxy crap on it, turn it counter clockwise a little at a time see if it helps, also when was the last time you did a tune up, plugs, cap, rotor etc.

Plugs.wires cap and rotor are ALL BRAND NEW. I tried adjusting the idle air screw but it seems like it helps while the car is sitting there but when Im driving is when I getting this problem. Like @ a lite it will stall or idle @ like 2-300.

Could I just need a tune really bad? My chipped ecu from phearable is on its way, ill be obd1 once that gets here also.

Dont know where else to look, ive tried unpluggin the iacv and map then pluggin em back in, resettin the ecu, but doesnt help!!!!!!

I think getting a tune will help you out. Have you cleaned your Idle Air Control Valve (IACV)??
