How do you know you aren't getting oil to the head? Is VTEC not activating? If so, pull the VTEC solenoid off and check the filter screen on the solenoid. Often times the screen is clogged with dirt and gunk, restricting oil flow.

I've never been able to make a car run on 2 cylinders. I hate that statement. Whenever I pull 2 cylinders spark plug wires they die. Huh.

Get an oil pressure gauge, hook it up and start it up. Watch it carefully. At idle with warm oil the pressure is about 10-15 PSI, at WOT at 6500RPM it should be in the 80s, you know? Maybe the sound is the engine running with no oil on it, very harsh on the metal.

Make sure there is oil in it, correct amount, youd be surprised at the amount of people that do swaps and dont bother checking the oil before/after. Oil pumps do die after a while. But I know alot of guys here are selling some, just check there signatures.
