Default Crx Si Seats into Hatch: Swap pans or Weld rails?

So far I've found that my 91 Hatch Dx seat pans are roughly 2 inches wider compared to the Crx Si seat pans and that the linkage from the bottom cushion to the top (aka seat back cushion) is slightly different between the two types of seats. For those that have accomplished this, did you:

A) Retain the crx seat pans and hardware and weld the civic rails to them, or...

B) Fitted the wider civic seat pans, rails and hardware to the crx seats

Any input or links of "specific" write-ups would be great, I only ran across one slightly informative post which mentioned about a past write-up but I couldn't find it

1. jbweld them in
2.swap the seat pans
3.Only use the two bolts that will fit in (Dont do this)
4.Use the holes that fit, and for the other ones that dont fit, cut it out and weld a piece of metal in there, drill a hole where it will fit and call it a day. Basically making a bracket.

Hmm, I didn't consider the first option , I'm thinking that swapping the pans would be the best bet if it works.

yea, i got eg seats in my ef. I just bolted the two front brackets in (they fit) and for the rears i just cut out the old bracket and weld a square piece of metal in. Then drill a hole in the metal piece where you need to. Also, if you jb weld them correctly, your seats will stay put.

Thanks, I've never uploaded a video, if you wouldn't mind doing so that'll be great, whenever you get a chance at least, no rush

Swapping the pans isn't that hard, but if I use my Dx pans then I have to fab up something with hardware that attaches the seatback for the si seats, kind of hard to explain, if I have the time I'll try to do a write up on this with pics
