brake pads, OEM quality??
It is about time I change my pads and was wondering if anybody knew of any oem quality brake pads I can just buy from a local store (cheap). I don't race my car, just drive it daily like a granny. I have some acura oem pads on and really like the quality.
Been searching and came up with a brand called brendix, any inputs on this; or if you've tried other brands LMK
thanks

is it? I remeber paying about 65 at the dealership. Autozone/pepboys have a few option below 30. I just like to know if they're oem quality.
I've search a lot of posts on brake pads, but everyone just talk about high performance brake pads. There is no post on brake pads for us normal non racing drivers. I don't mind paying extra for quality, its just that I don't want to when I don't have to.

I use my car strictly for daily driving, and I have been very happy with the ones from AutoZone. They are cheap and come with a lifetime warranty - I figured I'd give them a shot. To be honest, I haven't noticed any difference - at least the way I drive. There longevity may not be the best, but all you have to do is take them in and they hand you some new ones - and changing pads is not a big deal, so for $25 you are set for as long as you have your teg.
Just my $0.02

stores like autozone/advanced/shucks ect ect ect
sell cheap ones and premium (lifetime) pads. just get lifetimes from one of the places, they work good for daily driving if thats what your aiming for. no need to spend money on expensive pads that you have to re buy each time.
i use oreilly's premium brand (whatever it is i forgot), it was like 24 bux, and they give u new sets when it runs out. i use my car everyday, also some drag racing and back road driving. hasnt given me any problems and stops just as good as the oems.
