What does detonation sound like?
can somebody explain this sound?
could there be detonation on the motor running stock fuel system on ctr pistons ?
when i let go the gas and back on. or when i shift it makes poop sound lol,. sounds like something hitting against my ehx.
it happens only once. never in sequence.
only happens when i am off to ON throttle

Yeah, detonation sounds like pebbles shaking around in an aluminum can.
The ITR has a knock sensor which can retard timing somewhat to deal with it.. but wouldn't CTR pistons in a B18C5 be something like 12.5:1 compression or higher? Not sure.. stock fuel system may not cut it.

CTR pistons in stock fuel system...... yeah I am pretty sure you have det. on pump gas.
I been there and done that. Like people say here sounds like loose staples rattling in a soda can. You can here it really bad when you floor the throttle quickly...

So what are you waiting to get it tuned? If you continue, you will need another rebuild..
