Default Thermo-stat high horsepower

Question does most of the high horsepower cars still use the stock thermostat ?
or do they run no thermostat what would be better ?

Default Re: Thermo-stat high horsepower (94turbosi)

The lower temp thermostat, the colder the air entering the motor since coolant runs through the intake manifold (unless already blocked somehow) = more power.
