How do I get my head clean like this?
I want the 8 valve head as clean as the other one I just picked up. I will be replacing a valve on the 8 valve head soon (it's chipped) so I'll be taking junk apart. Anyway, is this feasible? Does it matter at all?
Thanks guys and gals.

If you are going to rebuild the head or
replace the valve stem seals,You can first take it
to a machine shop and ask them to "vat or hot-tank" the head..
You could also use carb cleaner aka Berrymans chem-dip
but it will most likely melt the valve seals...

Hot tanking is not recommend on an aluminum product as it will melt the aluminum with the chemicals they have,
Most machine shops have a high pressure dishwasher that has cleaning chemicals in it. That is the best way to get it clean.
Once it is disassembled though and your cleaning it yourself air intake cleaner is the best for getting off carbon and oil build up.
