Default Sliver liquid like stuff on my plugs?

Changed my spark plugs last night and noticed when I pulled them out that there was some sliver liquid substance on them. I don't how to explain how it looks, but it kinda looks like really thin solder right after you melt it. It was just around the top of them, couldnt see it until you touched it.

That silver stuff is anti-seize for your plugs.

Why would it be on there? I never changed the plugs since I got the car till now.

Anti-seize prevents galling, which aids plug removal. If the plugs are installed without the lubricant, it's possible to remove the threads (from the head) along with the plug when you pull them out.

Never knew that. Probably should've asked before putting it back in. Oh well shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for the help.
