I had a 90CRX DX with a B18C5. Yes, you can swap it just like a B16, same mounts, axles, etc.
Would I do it again knowing what I know now? definitely not.
If you want the "bling" factor of having a type R engine in your CRX, then by all means get it done. If I had $6000 to spend on a swap, I would go to the local junk yard, get a D16y8 with low mileage (around 60K or so) and turbo charge it.
Greddy makes a nice turbo kit for around $1500 (non intercooled) and they do all the work for you. Or if you want to have even more fun put a turbo kit together for less money. A turbo 1.6 will keep up if not beat a NA b18C5 any day, for a lot, a lot less money and a ton more fun!
