Autocrossers, Inc's third championship event
of 2006 will be held Saturday July 8th at
Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, Md. Registration
is now open at myautoevents.com (or follow
this URL http://www.myautoevents.com/pl...02111).

Lee Piccione and Greg Olsen will be doing the
course design.

Cost is $30 and registration is open to the first 180 competitors.

I am not sure if we can allow slackers like Scott to run. We may have to charge him $60.

Is this event only for members only? Will they be doin free runs for beginners or its only certain classes?

Anybody who pays the entry fee and has a valid drivers license can run.

By "free runs" do you mean ride-alongs? We will let newbies ride with more experienced drivers, and we also have instructors available who can ride with you and give you pointers.

You can sign up for novice class as well. There will be a novice coordinator that will be doing a course walk through telling you what you need to concentrate while you are running and what you need to do during your work assignment.

If you are new to this, I would suggest you arrive very early and ask for help as soon as possible. Do not hesitate to ask, everyone is friendly and if you get there soon enough, we can probably pair you up with an experienced driver that can help show you the ropes some.

Thanks guys Yea its my first auto cross event, Should be a good time..

Just Found out there is a waiting list, so well see if i get in..

 

i'll be there in ES with my miata.. and so will my girl. it'll be her first autocross..

 

i wanted to thank everyone who helped me out on my first autox @ ripken on june 17. had a blast, cant wait be return.i must say its alot harder than i thought. cant make this weekend, will be away on vacation.

Sorry Pat....had to make a sacrifice. I am running Commonwealth games and DC on the 30th, so couldn't afford this one with all the travelling.

I'll try to get to one this season.
