Default Just did my first swap!!!

Let me begin by saying I have always wanted a honda project and just a little over two months ago I bought my first (1991 crx dx auto). I knew it would be a big PITA to get a dx auto; but, my brother insisted that we can swap all that out when we do the engine. I decided to go d16z6 turbo. So now, two months later I finally finished up the first part. Here is a short list of all the stuff I got so far...
d16z6 longblock
91' si tranny
xtd stg 3 clutch and 9lb flywheel
chipped p28 ecu
rywire p-n-p dx to d16z6 harness
255lph fuel pump
550cc injectors
Full race radiator
Full race Traction bar
motor mount inserts
9mm spark plug wires
bkr7e spark plugs
new axles, dizzy, 4wire o2, timing belt, h20 pump, alt belt

and waiting to go in...
.63 50 trim t3/t04
SLS mani, downpipe
38mm tial wastegate
greddy types bov
stealthmode oil line kit
fmic+pipes

anyways, I fired the car up yesterday and it ran perfect. Today I set the timing and drove the car over 100miles and no problems.

yeah for me

thanks for the support guys.

yeah, we did change alot
obd0-obd1
nonvtec-vtec
dpfi-mpfi
auto-manual

I think a good reason it went smoothly is because I cause I did alot of research using the trusty "search" button and the rywire harness

Cool, can you tell a difference with the D16Z6? I always wondered how they felt in a CRX.

its it is quicker than it was (auto dx), it seems about as fast as my 5speed tC.

The car weighs in at ~2100lbs w/o me in it, which seem pretty heavy and is running on a base phearable tune w/ 550cc injectors so it probably runs a little rich/lean.

Usually there's atleast one annoying problem to work out. Good job.

does 2100lbs w/o driver seem about right? I weighed it at the track with there huge balance scale.

It does have a systeem with 2 amps, 2 10" subs in a large sealed box, optima red top (~40lbs) and 16" enkeis (~40lbs ea. rim+tire)
