well my dad's manger is giving me a free 1989 honda crx hf and the factory paint color is sort of brown. The interior color is kinda of tan with teewted cloth on the seats and all tan pieces ? Also the seats are almost like the Si's. The car itself only needs a tranny and it good to go. Sorry i dont have pictures of it yet. But is it rare?

 

no its a peice.. ill give u 100 for it lol i wouldnt call it rare but id say its a keeper

 

The only CRX to recieve tan interior is the Special Edition, only 250 (maybe 300) made.
If you have that interior - run, I'm coming for it and your life.
But more then likely not!

Yeah well, aside from that I think it's an awesome look so if you get the exclusive interior (I'd rather you keep the exclusive together, unless it's totalled) I say rock on, it looks great, so I think.

I like leather seats but not in a performance car. When I had my leater seats I would slide all over at auto-x's. A nice Sparco Spint came in the mail the other day to remedy that problem though. Mabey leather with suede bolstering would hold you, but race seats hold you better. If you aren't gonna push the car to the limit often though, you could probally get away with leather. But if I wasn't gonna push it to the limit, I wouldn't be installing a race suspension setup, a k20, and a roll cage.....

Back on the topic though. I wonder what kinda tan interioured crx this kid has found? Post pics young jedi!

Oh ****.
I've been doin a little bit each day, today I cleaned the engine bay only to find it's not really worth it as it has 100,000,000 scratches/dings/dents in it, as well as some grime I'm just not willing to go through the trouble of getting off.

But tommorow I will be going to get my GSR engine from my Mama's house, and put on the parts for it and toss it in there.

It's the glassroof I'm worried I won't get in intime. I don't have the funds for the Metal Adhesive......Otherwise, I'd be a hackin!

I have another of the jdm backseat that they came with but it comes up as the picture going through the window above.... The guy that posted this should let us know if this is the color of his interior!

All though i highley HIGHLEY doubt that his car came with this color interior, they were euro and like they said about there is only about 300 made, im not sure how the picture of the red rex got all that? maybe he found a rex with it and switched the interior to a us rex?

well the link up there... it has a painted red crx with tan interior which is modeled after the EDM (Euro domestic motor). i posted some pics of the actual EDM with Tan interior above but for some reason they are not working

How does someone have 2300+ posts and know enough to ask if a CRX HF w/ tan interior is rare.
Yeah I would say it's rare because most people wouldn't spray paint theirs tan or brown.
