Is this 300whp doable with these motors? Without touching the bottom end? Just throwing a turbo on and boosting it?

 

depends on how long you want it to run for. im sure u can just slap on a turbo, turn up the boost and have it make 300whp. but it'll probably blow 2 seconds later.

there has been a fully built d17 head but stock block that made 400hp... forgot what magazine it was in but they were saying that u could probably only get one run out of it before you need to rebuild it cause the block wont hold after that

 

in order to reach 300hp you'll have to do a lot more than just block work. around 250hp on a stock block is when stuff starts to reach its limit
