Default Installing A/C

Can someone tell me everything I'd need to pull out of a car at a junkyard to install AC, and how much would it cost to have it installed? Or would I be able to do it myself? Please let me know...

I'm selling the a/c off of my 91 Civic Si. Worked great before I pulled it out.

I have *all* of the underhood parts (bolts, tubes, brackets, etc) that you'd need to make it work. IM or email me if you are interested.

I'm interested, but I don't think I'd have enough to buy it and get it installed. Does anyone know what's involved in installing it or how much it would cost to have it done?

Installing A/C is really not that hard at all. I would consider it to be a MUCH easier job than, say, pulling the head on an engine. There are just a few important things to keep in mind. First, replace ALL o-rings with new ones. Even those in the evaporator box on the expansion valve. And when installing new o-rings, lubricate them with FRESH, CLEAN refrigerant oil. Torque all connections to the proper specs with a torque wrench and crow's foot attachment. And when tightening connections, ALWAYS back up the other fitting with a wrench to prevent the lines from twisting. Finally, ALWAYS use a new receiver/dryer. And if you have the system flushed, do so with the old receiver/dryer. Don't put in the new one until after the system is fluched AND right before charging.
