Default Opinions on what i should do for a 91civic hatch Dx.

Ok i have a civic that has a d15 SOHC i would like to swap in the motor for somthing a little more power to start off with, the mods i have on my car are a cat-back exhaust system from the muffler shop, a Nopi intake, v-power sparkplugs, and thats it, my friend is trying to convience me into buying a lighter flywheel but i dont want to put all this stuff in all this motor into somthing that i dont plan on racing. I think its only smart to keep it like it is especially if im not going to build it like i want, i want to swap a b16, that would be great but the way the money is i'm alittle slow i want to build my car but i think i need to swap the motor first but truly i want to build a B20 just cuz i hear they are decent motors, but anyways im planing on running ALL MOTOR but some great setups u might have and the cheapest, thank you.

great and cheap do not go together. Try searching. swaps have been covered alot. go with the b16 you can get on in the car realitively cheap and if you decide to drop a b20 into the car in the future will will have most of what you need for the swap

lol the only cars that came stock with b16's are the jdm sir ef's, del sols and older integras. but a previous owner could have swapped in a different motor, ya never know.

right.... the cheapest b series to get is i would say a b18a/b (ls) also depends on how much power you want out of this. you already meantioned all motor, and unless you just want a little kick out of it, d series and all motor dont really go together.

but eh, just trying to help with the little knowledge i have with all these honda engines. whichever you get, good luck with it

V-Tech makes phones. Honda makes VTEC.

If you know what you're doing, offer to fix her other car in exchange for this one.
