its just like adjusting a throttle cable. Pull your center console off and you will see it. Very simple.

there are like 5-6 small screws that you need to take out, then take off the panels off that attach to the center console and you should be able to just lift it off.

don't pull the whoel thing off, waste of time. pull out the little change holder type thing right next to you behind the ebrake handle, you can reach it in there and adjust it without taking out any screws..

there are two bolts hold it on. You have to take the two pieces off to get to them. They just snap on and off.

thanks for everyones help so far. i got the whole center consol off now. i was loosening and tightening a bolt connected to this rectangular metal peice that holds the 2 cables. idk if anyone knows what im talking a about. it made the e-brake start clicking, and tighten up at all different times. for some reason i think im having a problem with the initial grab. the cables pull from the e-brake to the rear where they then start running under the car. still no e-brake, not even a little is there anything else i can do? i didnt see any other adjustments.

thanks,

-nick

did you ever think that some jackass drove around w/ the ebrake on and wore the pads down to nothing? or maybe the rear rotors are less than the min thickness? cmon buddy.....

If you really can't accomplish anything tightening the cable inside the car, then you'll have to check the pads, rotors and the the spot where the cable attaches to the rear calipers.
