Default fluctuating mph needle

i noticed when i revved, my mph needle bounced all the way to the end. and the distance traveled moved down one mile. is there something wrong with it internally or with my interior wiring?

this is my second cluster, the first one was just all over the place.

Have you checked your vehicle speed sensor?

I don't see why its doesn't click. It should be the same plug. Sounds like a bad plug. Get a new plug with the pig tail and rewire it.

Same thing happened to my 95, the speedometer was working perfect, than one day it stopped. For the next few weeks it would come back on every once in a while. I took it on the highway and when I got home I noticed the needle was below the stop pin at 0mph. It must have jumped all the way around. Now when I drive it bounces around, but never spins all the way back or works correctly.
