Default Good deal??

ok my step-dad found a 99 si for sale, he hasnt looked at it yet just saw it in the neighborhood, its the killer electron blue i love, but it has 96k miles on it. i think there askin around 7000 for it. he is gonna go look at it closer, he is a mechanic and im stuck in iraq till nov, this is the car i want to buy for when im home a 99-00 si that is blue. ive wanted one since they came out. I was wondering if that is a good price if the car is in good shape im not really worried about the miles cuase i cand do a motor swap.

$7000 dollars is alot IMO for a car with that many miles on it. It better be in great shape. Then again, i dont know how much they are worth. If it is unmodded and in good shape, then i guess that is not to bad deal. Its a honda, it will run for a lot longer than 96k

As long as its in good condition, clean title, and treated well, its a pretty good deal.

But why get it if you're swapping motors?

I think if I was def planning a swap I'd get a DX for cheaper and b/c its slightly lighter.

I second that, but an Si does have some nice features that are missing on the DX. And the color, gotta love that blue.

i dont want to swap motors, i want the b16, this is my first honda and my first tuner and its the car ive wanted for a long time. if anything i would either re build that motor or get another b16 or jdm b16, i just wanted to know if that price seemed high.
