Default Formula Systems Group Pre 12 HR Report - Summit Point

The past two weeks have been very busy for the ITA FSG RS Integra. The car has been basically rebuilt. RJ continues to convince us of the need to use his latest Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models for perfect ride height but I became confused after the thermal imaging profiles.

We rented out SP again on Thursday this year and hopefully we can get through our testing schedule without any significant issues. We have a good chance of taking the ITA class win but it's always a long race. I wish our fellow H-T competitors the best for the up-coming weekend and race. Come by and say hello if you attend the race.

Larry,

I wish you guys the best of luck. I regret we weren't able to make the race this year to fight it out with you guys again. Make sure you guys change those Hawk pads at the six hour mark (earlier if possible).

Kick some a$$ out there

I'll stop by in the afternoon.

Regards,

Jon

We had a very disappointing result to the 12 hr this year. At hour 5 an over ambitious SM lost control in coming out of the shute and crashed into us. The hit broke loose the radiator brakets and damaged the radiator causing the head gasket to blow and over heating the engine thus caused a con rod failure.

The good news is we were able to significantly increase our pace from last year while increasing mpg. Fuel mapping testing and suspension setup went well on Thursday.

Sorry about your race guys......while I was out there you were fast and clean.........unlike the type of driver that caused your demise.....unfortunately 2/3rds of the field was that certain breed. Maybe next year we can limit their participation to no more than a handful per class.....
