Default what do you guys think about a b18 with a b16 head in my 89 crx

i got a couple of friends that have gotten their hondas fixed up nice and now i am offered a b18 for 200 bucks and a b16 for 100. what do you think about putting the b16 head on the b18 block? i heard that it gets like 11:1 compression but idk about that, shouldn't i build the internals first if thats the case? and if i were should i run type r pistons or what? just tell me your take on things and keep in mind i dont have but about $2500 to spend on my baby right now.

B18 & B16 head is a good match. You won't have 11.1 compression more like 9.5:1.

Get some ITR (P73) or GSR (P72) pistons to bump that thing up there in compression again. That's if you wanna go all motor. If you don't, leave the LS pistons in there and turbo it.

Also, remember to change out the piston rings and bearing. If your changing pistons you might aswell go all out. At the same time a waterpump (and ovbious T-Belt cause the LS one won't work, use a GSR with GSR waterpump, I think that's the combo you need).
