Default ============HELP==========HELP========

Ok. here is my situation.
i have multiple problems here

just rebuilt my B18C5
M22xx,ctr piston,310cc rc,chipped ecu P28

- Car will ONLY start with at least 20% of throttle
- car starts and it dies out right away with no throttle
-[ i can hold/pump the throttle to have my car running] (using my stock ECU)
- i can hold/pump the throttle to have my car running for few seconds and it dies out and the light in my ecu blinks as my PGM-FI relay(under the dash, fuse box) kicks in
when i take the key out or turn ign. off the sound stops.
(running chipped P28 with RM chip,)
- this ECU was working fine on my stock motor
-tried adjusting the idle screw , didnt work
-tried adjusting distubutor, didnt work either

-car has removed 2nd o2 and purge controll because i was running obd1 ecu

any help would be Great
thank you guys

It sounds like you just need to get your car tuned.

This isn't uncommon.

Don't worry just yet.

very common issue. Get your car tuned, and you will see a world of difference. My caR would not idle for more than 10 seconds until I had Jeff Evans tune it.

that makes my car stop running when running obd1 ecu

You need to get your car tuned. Whats yours fuel pressure set at with those injectors? It will run much better once you lean out the lower rpm.

the ecu was bad. i got my car to start with my stock obd2 computer and stock injectors.
what could go wrong right now ? if i have CTR pistons and M22xx cams. with stock computer?
i have my map senser disconnected right now and it idles low
when i have the map senser connected it was idling at like 1500 when it was warm

With the map hooked up is it throwing a check light? You should be fine with those cams and pistons if you are not reving high and hitting vtec.

Try to find a different obd 1 computer and put that rom in it. It could have a bad program or that ecu could have been fried when they chipped it.

Your car should idle really low with no map sensor.

The M22XX cams are very close in comparison to the M24X cams (which I'm using). Your car is going to idle like crap until it gets tuned.

the M22's primary lobes are the same as stock ITR's. Idle should be the same but Jeff has the XX's so the idle is gonig to be off a little bit

Hmmmm. I was told by Rocket himself that the primaries were the same measurements (M22XX and the M24X).

You should be good.. Currently i have stock cams, with CTR pistons with stock fuel system. I run 100 octane though. I'm looking for some buddy club IV's and 310's to make use of that damn compression.
