claying a b series vtec??????

Default claying a b series vtec??????

ya its not FI but you people are pretty damn intellegent in this forum, so could ya help me please.


how do i get the vtec to "engauge" with no oil pressure? i am trying to do this because i am putting 12.5:1 je psitons and toda b spec's in a b18c and im worried about piston to valve clearance. thanks

well im not sure why you would want to have vtec engage earlier with those pistons but ill tell you how, vtec works on a 5v or 12v signal, i can remember off hand right now plus im at work, but if you figure out what voltage goes into the switch to turn it on, just put that voltage into it.....we used a msd rpm swtch to acheive this on a 88-91 crx b16 swap we did......but like the guy abpove me posted, either yo uuse this for the claying, or not, i wouldnt run the car till you know for sure that you arent gona contact
