Default weird noise after hard acceleration

whats up guys, I got a little concern with my 2000 itr. see what happens is if I accel hard in first gear when I get off it to shift to second I get a weird rub/grind noise. It's tough to explain but it almost sounds like my a/c compressor hitting the frame when the motor rocks downward from the momentum change from getting off the gas and pushing in the clutch. its definitely not tranny related and it sounds to be coming from drivers front. cars only got 60k so I doubt it needs motor mounts. anything would help, thanks guys

Emmm...i think you answered your own question Check your mounts

Open your hood and get someone to rev your engine (get them to rev it pretty high by blipping accelerator quickly) you'll see how much movement there is when doing this. If the engine overly rocks when revving then thats your answer.
