2001 Prelude SH springs taken off with only 58 miles on the car, so they are practically brand new. No alterations of any kind have been done to the springs (cutting, compressing or anything). They are in perfect shape. Post or email offers.
Would you mind taking some measurements for me? Free length, # of active coils, spring diameter, wire diameter, etc. . . . .
Looking to settle once & for all how they're different from base springs.

umm i dont know what the etc's are nore do i know what the difference is from a spring wire and the spring itself
I'd be interested in those #'s too. If you can, (for front and rear) measure the height of the springs, count the # of coils, and check if the coils are all the same width, or do they get smaller. The difference between the diameter of the spring and the diameter of the wire is: The diameter of the spring is the diameter/width of a coil. The diameter of the wire is how thick the steel is.
Thanks a lot
Thanks a lot
id imagine that the type sh would be tighter coils due to the fact that the atts helps it out between cornering, so id imagine that the springs would be compressed more then base.
Thanks. How about the diameters? The diameter of the coil is pretty easy to measure, but the diameter of the wire could be tricky if you don't have measuring calipers. (If you don't, you could wrap a piece of string around the wire and mark where the end meets back with the string. That will give the circumference, which can be divided by pi).
Thanks for making the effort, it's appreciated.
