Fan Relay
My 91 CRX Si has been overheating for a little while, so today when it got to like 3/4+ I got out and found out that the fan isn't coming on. I also checked my radiator hoses to see if my thermostat was working and they were both hot so I have pretty much narrowed it down to the relay since thats what kicks the fan on... does anybody have any instructions on how to replace this and where it's at? I looked around but couldn't locate it, guess I'm blind.
the cooling fan has a temperature switch on the back of the block next to the oil filter - has a big rubber boot on it - pull the boot off and connect the 2 wires together - if the fan comes on, replace the switch in the block - if it doesn't come on - reconnect the wires and check the relay which is on the passenger side inner fender panel behind the headlight - if you have A/C, you have 2 fans - the A/C one is closest to the driver's side - it has 2 relays which are on the radiator support on the passenger side, next to the headlight
